Summer might be over but it’s still hot enough for a cold tasty treat!
I’m usually all for quick and easy but when it comes to my kid’s diet, I like to control as many ingredients as possible. And so that’s why I’ll make our popsicles instead of buy them.
Dairy-Free Carob Pops*
*What’s carob? It’s a naturally caffeine-free, healthy substitute for cocoa powder.
2 cups almond or coconut milk
3 TBSP carob powder (I get mine here)
(optional) dash of liquid stevia extract or maple syrup
Dissolve carob powder in the milk.
Fill up your molds.
Wait and convince your child to be patient!
